"Since the Limited Use License Agreement for use of Arroyo Vista Park by Arroyo Vista School is made between SAMLARC and the Capistrano Unified School District, the issue should be addressed to the Capistrano Unified School District ... the SAMLARC Board of Directors bases any and all decisions regarding park usage on its General Park Use Policy, which was developed in 2005. This policy serves in the best interest of the entire SAMLARC membership and reflects the community's original intent and vision regarding use of SAMLARC facilities."

“I have received a letter addressed to Mr Derek Mc Gregor, President, Rancho Santa Margarita Landscape and Recreation Corporation, that references California State PTA and states, ‘these organizations are joining the Arroyo Vista PTA in respectfully requesting that SAMLARC and Capistrano Unified School District re-assess the current limited-use agreement regarding Arroyo Vista Park. We ask that the agreement be changed to allow for the use of one ball field and the perimeter for all Arroyo Vista students' use.’ The California State PTA has not taken any action to join such a request and you must immediately cease and desist from making such a statement.”
